General Terms and Conditions of Business

Welcome to LUUK Studio, a registered trademark of MHC&C GmbH.

Below you will find the general terms and conditions.

1. Scope

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through our online shop.

Our online shop is aimed exclusively at consumers. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor independent professional. An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person, or a partnership with legal capacity, who, when entering into a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of their commercial or independent professional activity.

2. Contracting parties, conclusion of contract

The purchase contract is concluded with MHC&C GmbH. The presentation of the products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding online catalog. You can initially place our products in your shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order by using the correction tools provided and explained during the ordering process. By clicking the order button, you place a binding order for the goods contained in the shopping cart. Confirmation of receipt of your order will be sent by email immediately after submitting the order.

When the contract with us is concluded depends on the payment method you choose:

Klarna invoice

We accept your order by sending a declaration of acceptance in a separate email or by delivering the goods within two days.

credit card

When you place your order, you will simultaneously provide us with your credit card information. Once you have verified your identity as the legitimate cardholder, we will request your credit card company to initiate the payment transaction, thereby accepting your offer.

PayPal, PayPal Express

During the ordering process, you will be redirected to the website of the online provider PayPal. There you can enter your payment details and confirm the payment instruction to PayPal. After placing your order in the shop, we will request PayPal to initiate the payment transaction, thereby accepting your offer.

Sofort by Klarna

After placing your order, you will be redirected to the website of the online provider Sofort GmbH, where you confirm the payment instruction. This will conclude the contract with us.

Amazon Pay

During the ordering process, you will be redirected to the website of the online retailer Amazon before completing the order process in our online shop. There, you can select the delivery address and payment method stored with Amazon and confirm the payment instruction to Amazon. You will then be redirected to our online shop, where you can complete the order process. After placing the order, we will request Amazon to initiate the payment transaction, thereby accepting your offer.

3. Contract language, contract text storage

The available language for concluding the contract is German. We save the contract text and send you the order details and our General Terms and Conditions by email. You can view the contract text in our customer login. We also point out that you can save the General Terms and Conditions at any time, for example, by printing them out.

4. Delivery conditions

Incoming orders are processed within 1-2 working days. The delivery time in Germany is between 1-5 business days. The standard delivery time to other countries is between 1-4 weeks, depending on the location.

Our standard delivery is free throughout Germany.

Shipping to other countries in the European Union costs €9.90 per order.

Shipping to Switzerland or Liechtenstein costs €12.90 per order.

Express shipping is currently not possible.

To other countries, our products are only shipped upon prior request to our email address hello@luuk-studio.com.

We only deliver by mail. Unfortunately, collection of the goods is not possible.

Returns & Returns:

Returns are free of charge within Germany within 30 days. After that, returns from Germany cost €6.90.

A return from outside of Europe costs €9.90.
A return from Switzerland or Liechtenstein costs 12.90 €.

If you cancel the purchase contract, you are obligated to return the goods to us in their original packaging immediately and in any event no later than fourteen days from the date on which you notified us of the cancellation of this contract. Further information can be found in the cancellation policy.

5. Payment

In our shop you can generally use the following payment methods:

credit card

When you place your order, you will also provide us with your credit card information. Once you have verified your identity as the legitimate cardholder, we will request your credit card company to initiate the payment transaction immediately after your order. The payment transaction will be processed automatically by the credit card company, and your card will be charged.

PayPal, PayPal Express

During the ordering process, you will be redirected to the website of the online provider PayPal. To pay the invoice amount via PayPal, you must be registered there or register first, authenticate yourself with your login details, and confirm the payment instruction to us. After placing your order in the shop, we will request PayPal to initiate the payment transaction. The payment transaction will be processed automatically by PayPal immediately thereafter. You will receive further instructions during the ordering process.

Sofort by Klarna

After placing your order, you will be redirected to the website of the online provider Sofort GmbH. To pay the invoice amount via Sofort, you must have an online banking account with PIN/TAN procedure that is activated for participation in Sofort.

You must have the appropriate ID, verify your identity, and confirm the payment order to us. You will receive further information during the ordering process. The payment transaction will be processed immediately by Sofort, and your account will be debited.

Amazon Pay

During the ordering process, you will be redirected to the website of the online retailer Amazon before completing the order process in our online shop. Purchase on account via Klarna

In collaboration with Klarna AB (www.klarna.de), Sveavägen 46, Stockholm, Sweden, we offer you purchase on account as a payment option. Please note that Klarna invoices are only available to consumers and that payment must be made to Klarna. When purchasing on account with Klarna, you always receive the goods first, and you always have a payment period of 14 days.

6. Vouchers

Purchased LUUK Studio vouchers can be redeemed at any time in our online shop (www.luuk-studio.com). Please contact our customer service (email: hello@luuk-studio.com; phone: +49 (0) 89 45229570) if you encounter any problems redeeming the voucher during the payment process.

7. Retention of title

The goods remain our property until full payment has been made.

8. Transport damage

If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage, please report such defects to the delivery person as soon as possible and contact us immediately. Failure to file a complaint or contact us will have no consequences for your statutory rights and their enforcement, in particular your warranty rights. However, you will help us assert our own claims against the freight carrier or transport insurance.

9. Warranty and guarantees

The statutory liability for defects applies.

For used goods, the following applies: If the defect occurs after one year from delivery of the goods, claims for defects are excluded. Defects that occur within one year from delivery of the goods can be asserted within the statutory limitation period of two years from delivery of the goods.

10. Statutory right of withdrawal

Information on the statutory right of withdrawal can be found in the online shop in the footer on a separate page.

The statutory right of withdrawal is unavoidable for both parties. This applies primarily and for 14 working days from the date of delivery.

Incorrectly sent returns

We are not liable for the loss, destruction, depreciation of value or damage to incorrectly sent returns that are not our products, regardless of the legal basis.

11. Contractual right of return
In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers and users as per Clause 9 above, we grant you a contractual right of return.

For products purchased through marketplaces other than the LUUK Studio online shop www.luuk-studio.com , the respective contractual terms and conditions of the respective provider apply.

The products can be unpacked and carefully tested, but should be returned to us in a new condition and in their original packaging (for example, the lights should not be left outdoors in the rain for an extended period of time).

For returns, we charge the following shipping fees:
Returns are free of charge within Germany within 30 days. After that, returns from Germany cost €6.90. Returns from other European countries cost €9.90. Returns from Switzerland or Liechtenstein cost €12.90. The shipping fee will be deducted directly from your refund amount.

Our return policy is 50 days, starting from the order date. Please note that we will not process returns received after 50 days from the order date. A refund is not possible in this case.

For returns sent back to us more than 50 days after the order date, the products will be donated to a non-profit organization in

Returns sent to our office or warehouse address at your own expense after 50 days will not be considered. No refunds will be issued.

Return of complete order:

For orders with an order total of more than 150.00 euros that were placed more than 30 days ago and are returned in full, we, MHC&C GmbH, reserve the right to refund the purchase price
to issue a voucher for the full purchase price. This voucher is valid for three years from the date of issue, ending at the end of each calendar year. Exceptions are possible.

If an order with a value of goods exceeding 80.00 euros is returned to us in full after the expiry of the statutory cancellation period, we, MHC&C GmbH, reserve the right to charge a flat rate shipping fee in the amount of the flat rate shipping fees defined above.

12. Liability

The above limitations and shortened time limits do not apply to claims based on damages caused by us, our legal representatives, or vicarious agents. In these cases, our liability is always unlimited:

in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty,

in the case of guarantee promises, if agreed, or

insofar as the scope of application of the Product Liability Act is open.

In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations, the fulfillment of which is essential for the proper execution of the contract and on whose compliance the contractual partner may regularly rely (cardinal obligations), due to slight negligence on our part, our legal representatives, or our vicarious agents, liability is limited to the damage foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded and whose occurrence must typically be expected. Otherwise, claims for damages are excluded.

13. Dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
